Nonwovens for Furniture

Under our trademarks TEXFIL®, OVATA® and COMTESS®, Breuers Verpackungen GmbH distributes high-quality nonwovens for almost the entire range of application in the furniture industry.

TEXFIL® is used as bracing or lining, and is available in various grammages, colors and roll widths. Printing on this PP nonwoven is also possible.

OVATA® is a very fluffy polyester nonwoven that is made from polyester fiber and possesses anti-allergic properties. Breuers Verpackungen GmbH basically distinguishes between two different qualities. The first quality it distinguishes is resin-OVATA®. For this nonwoven, the fibers are bound by an acrylic or vinyl resin, and therefore the product is highly stable during washing processes. The second quality is bi-component-OVATA®. This is prepared on the basis of two polyester components that are thermally sealed to each other and as a result form very soft yet elastic properties.

Needle-punched nonwoven COMTESS® is made of polypropylene fiber which is highly resistant to tearing. This makes it particularly suitable for protecting and covering upholstered furniture.
